Carl's Bio

Carl Sipes began his career as a personal trainer in 2002.  He graduated from Illinois State University with a Bachelors Degree in Physical Education with an emphasis on Exercise Science and Kinesiology.  He’s always had a passion for sports and fitness.

After graduating from college, Carl moved to California and spent five years in the San Francisco Bay Area.  This is where Carl’s true passion for personal training began.

He was introduced to some of the best and latest techniques and had his first opportunity to meet and learn from some of the Top RKC Instructors.

In 2007 Carl and his wife moved back to Central Illinois to be closer to family.  He brought his passion for Personal Training with him.  He is excited to introduce Central Illinois to new ideas about training through his own education, training and certifications.

Carl started Method Training in 2010 and opened his gym at his current location in 2014.  Carl has a world of knowledge to share with each of his clients.  His experience allows him to help his clients attain their fitness goals through functional movement and strength & conditioning.
